Ombujomenge is situated in central-western Namibia, near the mountain range of Erongo, half-way between the capital Windhoek and the searesort Swakopmund . The chief-town , named Karibib, lies along the principal road and is known for its marmor industry, and semi-precious stones, as well as for the goldmine Navachab that has largely contributed to a certain wellfare of this little town. The surrounding areas are rich in prehistoric rock paintings and carvings.
